Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our growing team. This is a full-time permanent remote role based in the UK, suitable for candidates from entry-level to highly experienced professionals. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting network systems to ensure optimal performance and availability., * Monitor network performance, systems, and infrastructure using NOC tools.

  • Identify, triage, and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or relevant teams as necessary.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and third-party vendors for incident resolution.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance, network checks, and health monitoring tasks.
  • Maintain accurate incident logs, documentation, and shift reports.
  • Assist in implementing network improvements and optimizing performance.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and internal operational standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN?, Eligibility: Must have right to work in the UK(Valid Visa), * Strong interest or experience in networking, IT operations, or NOC environments.

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG) is an advantage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues and network faults.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+, JNCIA).
  • Experience with enterprise networks or data center operations.
  • Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and security devices.
  • Scripting/automation knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Must have the right to work in the UK(Valid Visa).

Pay: £25,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
