iOS & Android Backend Developer - Manchester

Location: Manchester Contract Duration: 12 Months

Urgent 12-Month Contract - Role hiring now!

This is a Manchester based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on building high-quality software, owning services end-to-end, and working closely with product and UX teams in a large-scale, multi-module environment.

Our client is looking for an experienced iOS, Android & Backend Developer to join their engineering team. This role focuses on building high-quality software, owning services end-to-end, and working closely with product and UX teams in a large-scale, multi-module environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality software using Swift, Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot.
Write clean, modular, well-tested code and contribute to continuous improvement.
Monitor, maintain, and own services end-to-end, including deployments and performance.
Resolve production issues, complete root cause analysis, and improve system reliability.
Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical guidance.
Communicate effectively with peers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
May take part in an on-call rotation.
