We now have the opportunity for a IT Operations Coordinator to join our Technology Department. We are looking for a highly driven, talented and experienced developer.
The role will be based at our new, additional, technology site in Alicante, Spain. Backed by over 1,700 technologists worldwide based across our three key technology centres - our primary technology hub in Geneva (Switzerland), supported by Madrid (Spain), and Malmö (Sweden), and powered by one of Europe's largest IoT platforms, we're building something big, and we're just getting started in Alicante.
The IT Operations team monitors and supports critical systems to ensure stability and minimize downtime. They handle alerts and incidents promptly, resolving issues whenever possible or escalating issues to the appropriate stakeholders, to restore services quickly and effectively. The team is essential for maintaining operational continuity and driving process improvements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate shifts and tasks for technicians.
- Oversee alerts and incident management, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Act as an escalation point in critical situations.
- Maintain updated documentation (runbooks, procedures).
- Conduct training sessions for the team.
- Collaborate with other IT teams (Service Desk, Problem, Change).
- Support post-incident analysis and continuous process improvement.
- Be available for on-site work in rotating shifts and on-call duties., You are a key Coordinator ensuring rapid response and smooth resolution of critical IT incidents across a 24x7 environment. You are the leader who brings clarity and direction during high-pressure IT incidents, guiding teams toward swift resolution.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Jira?, * Proven experience in IT operations and incident coordination.
- Experience leading teams in 24x7 environments.
- Knowledge and ITIL certification.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Opsgenie, Helix.
