Job description

  • Requirements Traceability at board level, ensuring alignment with system-level specifications.
  • Component Selection based on performance, reliability, and lifecycle considerations.
  • Generation of Board Specifications and technical documentation.
  • Schematic Capture using industry-standard EDA tools.
  • PCB Layout Support and collaboration with layout engineers.
  • Creation of Manufacturing Documentation, including Bill of Materials (BoM), assembly drawings, and test plans.
  • Laboratory Instrumentation Handling for prototyping and testing.
  • Execution of Hardware Validation Tests, including functional, environmental, and compliance testing.
  • Collaboration with Firmware, Mechanical, and Systems Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration. Support to Production and Quality Assurance during industrialization and troubleshooting phases.

Requirements

  • An/a Hardware Engineer (Space) - Relocation Spain, with at least 5years of experience.
  • Availability to join a stable project in Madrid.
  • Degree:Grade, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in space sector as a hardware designer, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability sectors.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics).
  • Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc.).
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices and environmental testing standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
