Job description
We are looking for a skilled ABAP Developer to join an ongoing S/4HANA transformation programme. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting custom developments in line with project and business objectives. You'll collaborate closely with functional teams and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient solutions within a modern SAP landscape., * Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality ABAP code.
- Support custom development activities across S/4HANA environments.
- Translate functional specifications into technical designs and deliverables.
- Build and optimise RICEF objects, OData services, and system interfaces.
- Create and maintain CDS Views; implement AMDP for performance-driven data operations.
- Ensure consistent integration across SAP modules and external systems.
- Conduct technical testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Participate in solution design discussions and maintain thorough documentation.
- Follow SAP development standards and best practices.
- Support go-live preparations and provide post-go-live assistance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an ABAP Developer within S/4HANA projects.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects, CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and Open SQL.
- Strong understanding of SQL optimisation and SAP HANA performance concepts.
- Ability to determine optimal logic placement (application vs. database).
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.
- Prior experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical environments is a plus.
- Solid understanding of SD, MM, PP, or FI/CO and their technical integration points.
- Comfortable working independently and within distributed global teams.
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
- Must be based in Spain with flexibility for occasional travel.
