Job description

Reporting to the Senior Asset Data Manager, you'll join the Asset Strategy Management team at an exciting time, managing the Asset Information service, which provides accurate, update to date and relevant data about our homes and estates to a range of internal stakeholders, supporting the delivery of the 15-year Asset Investment Programme, estate regeneration projects and asset disposals. Your impact in the role: In this role, you'll directly contribute to the delivery of the L&Q strategic plan, by managing the Data Improvement Plan, on our Asset Management database, Keystone, ensuring that the data is ready to be migrated to a new system, and the organisation's annual Decent Homes return. You'll also oversee the maintenance of the organisation's asset register for mechanical and electrical data, through the management of specialist data collection projects and the production of related reports, supply the data to Building Compliance colleagues delivering servicing and inspections. The postholder will be responsible for managing L&Q's stock performance systems, financial and non-financial stock appraisal tools, Net present Value modelling, suite of Power Bi dashboards and continue the development of the associated processes to enable the delivery of strategic Asset Management activities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Power BI?, Are you an experienced people manager, who can lead, motivate and inspire a team of highly skilled data analysts, to deliver against demanding objectives? Do you have a passion for improving data quality and managing social housing data systems, to ensure that the organisation can utilise data as an asset and enable the delivery of a high service to our residents?, You'll be committed to and suitability skilled in creating a team culture of continuous improvement, learning and creative problem solving, as well as having excellent analytical skills in MS Excel, with the ability to gather, link, manipulate, and interpret information from multiple sources, and experience in overseeing the development of Power Bi Dashboards and managing data specialist. As an excellent communicator, who fosters collaboration across teams, you'll have ability to consult with, and balance the requirements, of multiple internal and external stakeholders and juggle conflicting priorities effectively, whilst displaying a clear understanding of the application of asset management concepts and a firm commitment to providing excellent customer service.   • Be an experienced people manager, able to lead, motivate and inspire others to deliver against demanding objectives

  • Demonstratable knowledge of Asset Management Databases, Decent Homes Standard, Property Investment and Financial Appraisals

  • Excellent analytical skills. To gather link and manipulate and interpret information from multiple sources. Distinguishing statistical significance, drivers, risks and opportunities relevant to L&Q and its operations.

  • Have experience of managing the delivery of complex data collection and data improvement projects. Including experience in developing new processes to improve data standards.

  • Demonstrable ability to consult with, and balance the requirements, of multiple stakeholders. Including senior leaders.
