This hybrid role is based out of our Manchester City Centre office. Working hours are 8:30am-17:00pm with some flexibility on start & finish times., As a Senior Support & Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Technical Director and wider technical team. Your time will be split between providing high-level IT support and delivering technical projects for our clients. You will act as an escalation point for complex issues and play a key role in the delivery of both traditional IT infrastructure projects and recruitment technology implementations., Support (Approx. 50%)
- Provide high-level technical support across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, cloud, endpoint, security, and recruitment technology stacks.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for the support team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, ensuring SLA adherence and high customer satisfaction.
- Work alongside recruitment technology product vendors to support, configure, and maintain client systems.
- Contribute to internal technical documentation, processes, and standards.
- Support client onboarding/offboarding and maintain core cloud and infrastructure environments.
Projects (Approx. 50%)
Deliver technical projects end-to-end, including:
- Microsoft 365 tenant migrations
- Azure environment builds
- VoIP system rollouts
- Intune & MDM deployments
- Network and infrastructure installations
- Recruitment technology implementations and integrations
Collaborate with recruitment technology vendors and client stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Produce implementation documentation, handover notes, and updates for internal and client teams.
Attend customer sites as required for project delivery and high-impact support tasks.
Participate in occasional out-of-hours project work (overtime provided).
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Technical support?, * 3+ years' experience in an MSP / IT Service Provider environment.
- Strong technical proficiency across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking fundamentals, Intune/MDM, and general infrastructure.
- Proven experience delivering projects within scope and timescales.
- Ability to act as a senior escalation point for technical support teams.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage workloads without micro-management.

- Project management tools such as Asana or Jira
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work on customer sites when required., * MSP / IT Service Provider: 3 years (required)
