Job description
- Be part of the Data Team, enhancing internal data processes.
- Collaborate on Datamarts for Pricing & Controlling use cases.
- Support the development of central industry dashboards for stakeholders.
Requirements
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in Python and cloud data technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English., * You have a strong interest in the insurance business and enjoy understanding business processes and identifying the best technical solutions.
- You hold a university degree (ETH, university, university of applied sciences) in computer science, data science, business informatics, or a comparable education.
- You have knowledge of technologies for implementing data pipelines in the cloud (such as DBT, Dataflow, etc.).
- You have experience with data visualization (ideally with Apache Superset) or are willing to acquire it.
- You are "opinionated" regarding data architecture principles and the use of various technologies, without losing sight of pragmatism in implementation.
- You are data-savvy and do not shy away from complex ETL processes in SQL.
- You have good programming skills in Python and experience with various state-of-the-art technologies from the data science stack.
- You engage with our internal and external stakeholders on an equal footing, are strong in communication, and find constructive solutions together with them.
- You speak fluent German and English.
