Job description

In this role you will play a key part in our new IT Hub by being responsible for all SAP Operations Support processes within the entire Syntegon Group. You will ensure high-quality service delivery as well as continuous improvement of the support processes. Additionally you will act as the disciplinary manager for all employees in the Hub. Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the IT Hub as a global support and competence center using a defined set of KPIs to track performance.
  • Take ownership of all SAP Operations Support processes including incident and service request handling while serving as the primary contact for related topics within the Syntegon Group.
  • Lead the IT Hub team with disciplinary responsibility. Serve as a counterpart for professional managers in topics such as people development performance management and recruitment while cultivating a strong team culture.
  • Collaborate with other functional managers in order to ensure smooth alignment and effective project execution as well as handover into operations support.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes tools and methodologies with a focus on excellence in operations support.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies security and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Business Administration Business Informatics or a comparable discipline.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in IT service delivery or SAP operations.
  • Proven experience in leading and building high-performing teams ideally in the context of an IT hub within an international environment.
  • In-depth understanding of IT application operations processes such as incident problem request and change management with experience in applying modern technologies like AI-based solutions to enhance these processes.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
  • Confidence ability to work in an international team flexibility and assertiveness are part of your way of working.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 15%) with fluency in both written and spoken English.
