Job description

Scrum Masters play a key role in the delivery governance of the Board implementation team,

ensuring that Agile methodologies are consistently applied across project workstreams

Scrum Masters lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews,

tracking deliverables and progress using tools like Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps

Work closely with the Board Solutions Architect to align technical delivery with strategic

goals and escalate risks or delays early.

The Scrum Master is also key in managing dependencies between Board development and

external teams responsible for data sources, APIs, or downstream systems.

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews,

and retrospectives to ensure smooth execution of Scrum ceremonies.

  • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and practices to

foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder team progress, escalating issues

when necessary.

  • Guide the team in following Scrum rules, roles, and artifacts while adapting to

organizational needs.

  • Assist the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritization, and ensuring clarity of

user stories for development teams.

  • Conduct retrospectives and implement actionable improvements for team

performance and processes.

  • Act as a liaison between the development team and external stakeholders, ensuring

alignment on goals and expectations.

  • Shield the team from external distractions and scope creep to maintain focus on

sprint goals.

Internal - General

Use

  • Promote definition of done, and continuous integration for high-quality deliverables.

  • Mediate disputes within the team and foster a collaborative, respectful work

environment.

  • Guide teams in story point estimation for realistic commitments.

  • Ensure visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies through dashboards and

regular reporting.

  • Support teams transitioning from traditional models to Agile, ensuring smooth

Requirements

Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Scrum Master skill is mandatory
