Job description
Scrum Masters play a key role in the delivery governance of the Board implementation team,
ensuring that Agile methodologies are consistently applied across project workstreams
Scrum Masters lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews,
tracking deliverables and progress using tools like Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps
Work closely with the Board Solutions Architect to align technical delivery with strategic
goals and escalate risks or delays early.
The Scrum Master is also key in managing dependencies between Board development and
external teams responsible for data sources, APIs, or downstream systems.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews,
and retrospectives to ensure smooth execution of Scrum ceremonies.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and practices to
foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify and eliminate impediments that hinder team progress, escalating issues
when necessary.
- Guide the team in following Scrum rules, roles, and artifacts while adapting to
organizational needs.
- Assist the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritization, and ensuring clarity of
user stories for development teams.
- Conduct retrospectives and implement actionable improvements for team
performance and processes.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and external stakeholders, ensuring
alignment on goals and expectations.
- Shield the team from external distractions and scope creep to maintain focus on
sprint goals.

Mediate disputes within the team and foster a collaborative, respectful work
environment.

Guide teams in story point estimation for realistic commitments.

Ensure visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies through dashboards and
regular reporting.

Requirements
Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
