Job description
Lead and deliver major organisational redesign and transformation programmes, ensuring benefits are realised and aligned to corporate priorities. Oversee multi-disciplinary project teams, drive cultural and service change across the Council, and manage programme budgets ranging from £100K to £1m. Take ownership of multiple IT and business change projects from initiation through to successful delivery., * Drive delivery of strategic and operational change projects across the organisation.
- Use a design-led approach to generate insights, prototype ideas and implement solutions.
- Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams, promoting collaborative working.
- Manage full project lifecycle including business cases, planning, risks, dependencies and reporting.
- Manage project challenges proactively to maintain progress and outcomes.
- Line manage a team of Project Managers and support development of the PMO function.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Waterfall?, * Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience
- Project/programme management certification desirable (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, Agile)
Skills & Experience required:
- Experienced IT Programme Manager with a strong background in large-scale transformation
- Expertise in Total Mobile Connect implementation
- Strong business knowledge of Housing Repairs, ideally within a Local Authority
- Understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Proven track record of delivering complex programmes and service redesign
- Experience influencing change in large organisations and leading multi-disciplinary teams
