Job description
As aLinux System Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure powering cutting-edge software products. You'll collaborate closely with development and operations teams to deliver seamless experiences for clients and end-users worldwide., * Deploy, maintain, and optimize Linux server environments supporting software applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based solutions.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- Implement and maintain security best practices across servers and services.
- Document infrastructure, processes, and troubleshooting steps to ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing Linux servers (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and backup solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
- Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
