Job description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support and strengthen our Group SAP HR+ product team. You will work in an Agile/SCRUM environment where you contribute both to the operation of existing HR solutions and the implementation of new tools, enhancements, and optimizations.
We operate on SAP S/4HANA, follow a Fiori-first UX strategy, and have the ambition to migrate fully to a private cloud by 2027. In this role, you will play a key part in improving HR business processes, shaping new functionalities, and ensuring high-quality delivery to internal stakeholders across Belgium and Germany. Functional Analysis & Product Development
- Analyze, model, and define business requirements related to HR processes and applications.
- Manage new requirements end-to-end, from scoping to delivery.
- Draft functional specifications, documentation, and process descriptions (BPMN/UML).
- Define and validate user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure alignment between business processes and technical solutions, including integrations with Finance, Controlling, Procurement, etc.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Prepare test scenarios and support test execution and UAT.
- Monitor testing progress and ensure acceptance readiness.
- Identify system bugs, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide 2nd-line support for HR+ applications (mainly Fiori).
- Collaborate closely with product teams and stakeholders in Belgium and Germany to evaluate, prioritize, and plan product evolution.
- Contribute to reporting improvements and perform data analyses to support business decision-making.
- Challenge and advise Product Owners to help drive optimal IT and process outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in HR-related domains.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and their cross-functional impact.
- Experience writing user stories, defining test scenarios, and supporting UAT.
- Capable of bridging business needs with IT constraints.
- Experience with S/4HANA, SAP HR modules (OM & PA) and/or Fiori is an asset.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
- Good understanding of BPMN, UML, and functional documentation standards.
Languages
- Fluent in English, plus one of the following: Dutch / French / German.
