Job description
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior System Administrator to join our Infrastructure & Operations team.
This person will be responsible for managing and coordinating data center operations, ensuring system stability, service continuity, and seamless collaboration with engineering teams.
You will lead and oversee the coordination, operation, and technical management of enterprise systems, working closely with software and hardware engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise service management, and will be passionate about ensuring reliability and scalability across Openchip's infrastructure stack.
You will report to the Infrastructure Lead and play a key role in maintaining a secure, performant, and resilient IT environment that supports a fast-paced, high-technology company., * Managing and coordinating Data Center operations, ensuring service reliability and high availability.
- Leading the coordination and operation of infrastructure projects with software and hardware engineering teams.
- Overseeing patch management, monitoring, and enterprise service administration to guarantee system integrity and compliance.
- Deploying and managing new services in public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and GCP).
- Ensuring the availability, performance, and resilience of company servers and enterprise systems.
- Collaborating with internal teams to automate processes, optimize performance, and strengthen security across environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience with server virtualization platforms, such as Proxmox / VMware.
- Hands-on experience managing container-based virtualization environments (Kubernetes / Docker).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage and backup systems, including administration and monitoring.
- Experience managing public cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, and GCP).
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
- Advanced level of English (spoken and written), as it is the daily working language.
- Previous experience working in engineering or technology companies is highly desirable.
