Hire, manage and coach members of the Machine Learning team.

Drive R&D initiatives planned in the company strategy and deliver them with your team.

Collaborate with Engineering team to maintain and improve inference systems in production.

Report project progress to company stakeholders, and coordinate Machine Learning efforts with other internal initiatives.

Requirements
You could be a great addition to our Machine Learning team if you recognize yourself in several of the following areas:
- Academics
- Strong theoretical background in mathematics and/or computer science
- MS or PhD is a plus
- Professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in technical management roles including management of senior engineers
- Significant experience with production environments: testing, deploying, monitoring, etc.
- Experience in AdTech is a plus
- Engineering & infrastructure skills
- Write clean, maintainable, production-quality Python code, with a strong grasp of testing, typing, CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with Scala, Spark, Airflow and/or AWS is a plus
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data engineering or high-frequency inference systems is a strong plus
- Machine learning skills
- Intimate understanding of theoretical concepts in probability, statistical learning, and optimization
- Significant modelling experience with tabular data for classification and regression problems
- Practical experience of deep learning and embeddings is a plus
