Job description

The Global Liquidity & Account Shared Services (GLASS) team is a key function within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Banking Technology and is responsible for the cash accounts for the International region (Demand Deposit Accounting), Global Liquidity, and associated middleware. The teams are based in Bournemouth, London, Tampa, NY Metro, Chicago, Singapore, Mumbai, and Bangalore. This is a technical analyst role within the Account Services Technology team, where we are looking to build out a new capability leveraging our existing Demand Deposit Accounting/Sub Ledger/Model Bank capability and other evolving opportunities. The role will require cross Corporate and Investment Banking platform requirements coordination for integration across our existing and new services.

As an experienced professional in Solutions Analysis and end to end solutioning within the Account Services Technology team, you'll shape the technology solutions that promote strategic initiatives across the Portfolio. In addition to working within the development team to create new solutions, you'll help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities. While your role requires deep technological skills - including expertise in everything from data management to functional design - it also hinges on teamwork and leadership. You'll offer clear guidance and feedback to your Software Engineers, and partner closely with New Product Development, Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects., * Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations to define, document, and manage technical requirements and solutions throughout the full SDLC.

  • Act as a liaison between business lines and development teams, translating strategic goals into technology solutions and vice versa.
  • Manage system migrations by analyzing data mapping requirements and refining migration tools to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer.
  • Build strong relationships with key sponsors in Technology, Product, and Operations to achieve common objectives.
  • Capture business requirements and use cases, including screen designs, within an Agile framework.
  • Work with product managers to align detailed technical requirements with firm-wide strategic business goals for both short- and long-term roadmaps.
  • Participate in project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business needs, product architecture, and data management to create functional designs for products and features.
  • Support Agile processes such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and driving requirements through user due diligence and sign-off.
  • Partner closely with developers to ensure requirements are implemented as specified, acting as SME on the Agile team to ensure quality and alignment with business outcomes.
  • Validate test case writing, coordinate UAT, manage product documentation using Confluence and JIRA, create technical user guides, and oversee release, deployment, and troubleshooting with support teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Expertise in Temenos T24 Banking Application or similar products, with focus on Interest, Tax, Swift Payments, Accounting, Reporting, Sweeps, and Close of Business processing.
  • Experience in product management teams, working directly with customers on technical solutions.
  • Advanced business process and data analysis skills, including constructing complex data queries and collaborating globally.
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and judgment skills to solve complex issues and achieve project goals.
  • Solid understanding of the software development/project life cycle (SDLC), from discovery to implementation.
  • Solid understanding of agile development methodologies, ensuring adherence to Agile/Scrum principles.
  • Ability to translate between business/Product Owner and Agile development team.
  • Facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, and empowerment skills across all organizational levels.
  • High organizational skills, including proficiency with Confluence and JIRA for product documentation management, and ability to understand code logic and construct simple data queries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Ledgering preferred
  • Financial Services Background would be beneficial - Knowledge of Treasury and Banking preferred
