Job description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team in a fully remote, full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring, analysing, and strengthening the organisation's security posture. This role is suited for professionals with 1-12 years of experience in cybersecurity., * Monitor security alerts, logs, events, and anomalies across systems, networks, and cloud environments.

  • Investigate and respond to security incidents following established incident response procedures.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and collaborate with teams for remediation.
  • Analyse threat intelligence feeds to detect emerging risks and support proactive defence.
  • Review security configurations and assist in implementing best practices.
  • Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and summaries of security findings.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to enhance overall security posture.
  • Support compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and internal policies.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Splunk?, * 1-12 years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, or similar cyber role.

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat vectors, and defensive strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions, and security monitoring tools.
  • Ability to analyse logs from Windows, Linux, network devices, and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK - no visa sponsorship provided.
