Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our team in a full-time permanent remote role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting the organisation's network infrastructure to ensure security, stability, and optimal performance. This role is open to professionals with 1-12 years of experience., * Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructure.

  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure seamless operations.
  • Troubleshoot network issues across routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
  • Configure and manage network devices, including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar technologies.
  • Support LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-connected networks.
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching across network systems.
  • Work with security teams to enforce network security policies and configurations.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
  • Support network-related projects, deployments, and migrations.
  • Provide escalation support during incidents and outages.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WAN?, * 1-12 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar network infrastructure role.

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet or equivalent networking platforms.
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Experience managing LAN, WAN, and cloud network connectivity.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Must have legal right to work in the UK - no visa sponsorship available.
