Job description

The Identity Support Analyst is responsible for the operational support of multiple clients largescale Microsoft based solutions and applications with a focus on Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) 2016, Microsoft Entra ID and its associated technologies. Support is provided through maintenance, modification, problem resolution and incident management.

Also, to be involved in the design and development of new services and solutions for our support clients, the support team and the business.

  • Provide support for all client solutions within Managed Solution Support
  • Responsible for configuration management database (CMDB)
  • Provide support for the Identity project team when required
  • Technical development of service offerings and support services
  • Responsible for support handovers of client solutions into support
  • Acts as a seasoned advisor, providing independent opinion and complex problems and novel initiatives, and assists the client with decision making
  • Encourages clients to consider difficult issues in their best interests
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to more senior management, identifying approaches that meet clients' needs as well as those of the organisations

Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex and bespoke applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex bespoke applications
  • Good working knowledge and the ability to read and modify code written in VB.Net and C#
  • Good knowledge or experience of working with Microsoft PowerShell
  • Good Knowledge of Active Directoty / Windows based servers
  • Ability to support complex enterprise environments
  • Experience of operational support within a business environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, virtual environment
  • Ability to work independently, on multiple projects, in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and speaking abilities necessary to explain technical issues in a clear and compelling manner to various levels of technical and business audience
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Would be great if you have:

  • Experience with operation/support of Microsoft FIM/MIM
  • Experience with operation/support of Entra ID Connect, AD Cloud Sync
  • Experience with operation/support of Exchange or M365
  • Experience with operation/support of Microsoft Entra ID
