Job description
Shape the systems landscape of the future of our Quality Control labs as an IT Systems Administrator! In this role, you'll set up and maintain advanced IT applications, act as a trusted partner for QC teams, and evaluate innovative software for seamless integration into our infrastructure. You'll own critical systems, ensure GMP compliance, and keep operations running smoothly while driving our exciting growth project forward., Act as system administrator and local System Owner for QC lab application systems and be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the systems.
Provide operational support for the systems in scope: level 1 and 2 support in cooperation with the business departments, the global IT/OT teams and the vendor. Perform administrative functions (e.g. access management, configuration, periodic review, etc.) and IT/OT architectural design functions (e.g. evaluation of computer systems, data backup strategy, etc.) on laboratory systems.
Maintain the integrity of the systems, which includes performing routine preventative maintenance (patching, updates, upgrades) and ensuring appropriate security standards are followed.
Contribute to designing, documenting and implementing infrastructure technology related to the QC Lab application systems.
Own Deviations, CAPAs, Concept Changes, and Changes in the Quality System and support CSV processes with assessments and technology tools. Create and maintain GMP documents according to global standards. Ensure that documentation for the IT systems is developed, maintained and implemented.
Act as the strategic IT/OT Business Partner to the QC business unit.
Requirements
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Work experience as Systems Administrator (preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, in the GMP controlled environment)
Experience with Quality Control Laboratory Systems (e.g. LIMS) are a plus
You enjoy working closely with many people and your workstyle is characterized by a proactivity and independence.
Fluency in English, Skills in German are a plus
