Job description
Our Instructor are role models for the students studying in our cybersecurity program. They mentor students, help them with difficult concepts and assignments, and teach them the skills necessary to be great cybersecurity professionals. They guide students through the program and into their future careers, ensuring all students get the most out of both, regardless of their background., * Build and maintain strong, supportive, and long-lasting relationships with students
- Onboard students into our bootcamps, guiding them through the structure, tools, and resources to help them succeed
- Coach students on time management and online learning strategies, offering guidance when they feel stuck or overwhelmed
- Collect student feedback and share insights with internal teams, contributing to product improvements
- Handle administrative tasks such as registrations, breaks, and invitations
- Host regular live Q&A sessions to unblock students and help them progress confidently
- Provide personalized support through 1:1 video calls to answer questions and guide assignments
- Respond to occasional student inquiries via direct messages
- Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry-relevant skills
- Share professional insights and best practices to enrich the learning community
- Review student projects and deliver clear, actionable feedback aligned with program standards
- Support students in text (chat/discussion boards) by explaining concepts, troubleshooting code, and clarifying project or review questions

Schedule
We are currently looking for Instructors to join our team on the following schedules:
- Full-Time Program Instructor: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM ET (with a fixed 1-hour break)
- Part-Time Program Instructor: Friday-Tuesday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET
- Please note: schedules may occasionally change. If adjustments are required, you will be notified at least 2 weeks in advance. Shifts cover the overall operating hours of 9:00 AM - 2:00 AM ET.
Important note about time zones: Eastern Time (ET) observes Daylight Saving Time, which means the clock shifts twice a year: In March, clocks move forward by 1 hour (EST EDT) & In November, clocks move back by 1 hour (EDT EST).

What to expect from the hiring process:
The hiring process includes a check of your technical knowledge and teaching skills - this may happen through a technical assignment or a live (technical) interview.
While the usual steps include a screening, a technical evaluation, and a final conversation, the exact order may vary depending on the program. We'll guide you through each step along the way.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * You have at least 3+ years of experience in the cybersecurity field. Experience with tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Splunk, ELK, and more. Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Oracle VirtualBox) and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud security tools like CrowdStrike, Cisco SecureX, Prisma Cloud, and more.
- Experience in incident response and crisis management within a business environment.
- You have 1+ years of experience working in tech industry (experience with the U.S. market is a plus) and have been exposed to cybersecurity standards, such as NIST, ISO, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Availability for full-time collaboration (approximately 40 hours per week)
- A genuine passion for teaching, sharing knowledge, and staying up to date with the evolving field of Cybersecurity
- Fluent English: Verbal and Written. This role involves speaking directly with American students, so strong spoken communication is essential.
