Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team. This role is open to both early-career professionals with strong cybersecurity fundamentals and experienced analysts. You will help protect our organisation by monitoring threats, analysing vulnerabilities, and supporting incident response activities., * Monitor security alerts, logs, and systems for suspicious activity.

  • Investigate potential security incidents and escalate when necessary.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking.
  • Support incident response, including documentation, containment, and recovery efforts.
  • Conduct security reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Analyse threat intelligence to identify risks and emerging cyber threats.
  • Support the implementation of security controls, tools, and policies.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to strengthen overall security posture.
  • Maintain security documentation, playbooks, and reports.
  • Keep up to date with cybersecurity trends, frameworks, and best practices.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN?, * 0-12 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, IT security, networking, or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (threats, vulnerabilities, risk management).
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or similar.
  • Exposure to cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms or vulnerability management tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Must have right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).

Pay: £25,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
