Job description

A leading defence and national security technology organisation delivering advanced cyber, digital and intelligence solutions is seeking highly capable Security Testing Consultants to join their growing team. You will work alongside experts across multiple technical disciplines to deliver high-impact security testing, threat-led engagements, and advanced vulnerability analysis for mission-critical clients operating in complex environments., In this role, you will lead and deliver end-to-end security testing engagements spanning application, infrastructure, mobile, and intelligence-led testing. You will work in fast-paced environments where problem-solving, adaptability, and technical depth are essential, with opportunities to contribute to new tooling, adversary-emulation techniques, and broader cyber capability development. Expect strong collaboration with Threat Intelligence, Incident Response and other cyber experts across the business.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience delivering security testing engagements

Strong practical knowledge of industry testing tools, techniques and methodologies

Ability to understand client needs around risk, reporting and test outcomes

Capable of independently identifying issues and developing solutions

Strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

Technical interest in areas such as adversary emulation, vulnerability discovery, reverse-engineering or emerging technology

Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally (approx. 25%)

Current CHECK Team Member or equivalent certification (OSCP) or able to achieve this within 3 months

Desirable Skills

Scripting (Python), mid-level languages (C/C++), or low-level (ASM)

Experience across application, OS, DB, development or security operations

Sector testing experience: Government, Telecommunications, Energy or Financial Services

Experience in exploit development or advanced vulnerability research

Benefits & conditions

Salary: Up to £60,000

Bonus: Variable performance bonus
