Job description
- Design and implement AWS-based solutions that meet business, technical, and security requirements.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation for cloud solutions.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, ECS/EKS, VPC, and CloudFormation.
- Support migration of existing applications, databases, and services to the AWS cloud.
- Optimise cloud environments for cost, performance, security, and scalability.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure best practices for cloud operations, DevOps, and automation are followed.
- Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide guidance during incidents or escalations.
- Implement and enforce AWS security, identity, compliance, and governance policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
- Maintain documentation, architectural standards, and operational playbooks.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Must have the right to work in the UK. No sponsorship available.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (at any level).
- Understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, security, and cost optimisation.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPC, subnets, load balancers, security groups, routing).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK).
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows systems, automation, and CI/CD concepts.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
