Job description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Principal Systems Engineer to support a large-scale HR transformation programme within a complex, fast-paced technology environment. You will lead the planning, design, integration, testing, and delivery of SAP HR systems, ensuring solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture and business requirements., Lead technical delivery across SAP HR systems, including solution design, integration, and testing
Provide expert technical guidance for HR transformation initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, project teams, and technical leads
Support SIT/UAT phases and ensure quality assurance across system changes
Produce and review technical documentation
Ensure systems are monitored, supported, and maintained effectively
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery
Requirements
Strong background in HR change or transformation projects
Expert knowledge of SAP HCM (Human Capital Management)
Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and/or SAP ECC
Solid understanding of systems integration, SIT, and UAT processes
Excellent stakeholder and supplier/vendor management experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to work in complex, multi-disciplinary teams
Experience delivering solutions in large-scale enterprise environments, This is ideal for a Principal or Senior Systems Engineer with extensive SAP HR experience who thrives in a large, dynamic organisation and enjoys leading delivery across complex technical programmes.
