Software Engineer

You will work closely with our Solutions Architect and AI Engineer to design and maintain the services, integrations, and automation layers that power Forbion's investment, finance, ESG, compliance, and legal operations. Your engineering will directly enable smarter decision-making, faster workflows, and new AI-driven capabilities across the firm. What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services connecting source systems to internal data layers
• Build ingestion pipelines that transform external data into structured, reliable internal stores
• Ensure secure, scalable, and well-documented service integrations

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, observability, and cloud-native best practices
• Manage infrastructure components including secrets, key vaults, and automation frameworks
• Collaborate on architectural patterns, schema design, and system scalability

AI Co-Development

• Partner with the AI Engineer to build tools such as document agents, NLP scoring models, ESG automation, and predictive analytics
• Integrate AI pipelines into core business systems and workflows
• Experiment with emerging technologies including LLM orchestration and retrieval-augmented generation
• Extend workflow automation and backend logic within our Microsoft-based platform (Dynamics + Azure)
• Build reusable components and integrations supporting finance, compliance, and investor relations functions
• Expose structured data into reporting and analytics layers using Azure tooling

• 3-5 years of experience in backend or integration engineering
• Strong knowledge of Python (pipelines, ETL, AI toolchains)
• Familiarity with C# and .NET Core to extend and maintain backend logic
• Hands-on experience with Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms, REST APIs, and service integrations
• Strong understanding of data orchestration, validation, and transformation across systems
• Ability to balance prototyping and production-grade engineering

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Power Platform or Dynamics 365 custom components
• Background in alternative investments, biotech, or financial services
