Full-Stack Developer

• Experience in a SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) environment This could include commercial shipping, government agencies (eg Maritime and coastguard agency) or an adjacent area.
• Familiarity with hydrography and navigational charts Ideally S-100 but S-57 at a minimum.
• Cloud & Legacy Migration Successfully contributed to the migration of critical Legacy systems to cloud-based infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of a major cloud provider (eg, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant Legacy language (eg, Java, C#, or .NET 8.0) or database system (eg, Oracle or SQL Server).
• Experience with web application development using frameworks such as ASP.NET MVC, Razor Pages, or Blazor Server.

Nice to have skills.

• BPSS Clearance Required
• Experience with GIS systems and geospatial data formats like GeoJSON or MBTiles.
• Familiarity with hydrographic and navigational charts
• Experience with chart compilation tools or GIS platforms used for hydrographic data processing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience designing and documenting APIs using RESTful API Design Guidelines and Swagger/OpenAPI
• Knowledge of NCSC principles and working to Secure by Design standards.
