Solutions Architect

The Solution Architect is in the end responsible for translating business and IT requirements into a proper solution design in line with Client long term vision and reference architecture. The Solution Architect will help improve business results by translating the business requirement into an IT solution, in accordance with the documentation. The Solution Architect will directly contribute to the achievement of the objectives of a dynamic, open and motivated team, through the following tasks:

• Create (High Level) Solution designs needed for the procurement process and review solution designs produced by the vendors
• Polish the standards, methodologies, best practices and technical solutions defined in the reference architecture through Project and Programmed engagement
• Assess & understand the impact of the introduction of new technology into the technology landscape of the organization.
• Manage the 'cradle to grave' - from conception through to delivery into production of solution architectures.
• Design both the physical and logical components of solution architectures that will deliver a positive business outcome.
• Work with Project Managers to provide provisional costs and implementation time for the components of the architecture.
• Define Technical (Software, Infrastructure, Data) Architecture & Business Architecture
• Validate designs / costs / planning / quality of solutions and components produced by bidders wishing to sell systems to the organization.
• Understanding of information technology and data communications
• Knowledge of modern state-of-the-art implementation and testing methodologies
• Follow-up of the IT delivery process and help improve processes
• Define, track and validate delivery of technical artifacts
• Create & defend business cases for improvements in the IT landscape towards IT & business board
• Perform Q&A, release validation and operations to improve processes and activities

• Experience in Software development and software lifecycle
• Experience in Containerization, private cloud
• Experience in Complex datasets (large structured data)
• Experience in Strict secure environment & security audits
• Experience in Vendor Collaboration for build & delivery
• Experience in documentation using standard notations (UML, ArchiMate)
• Experience in automation (SaaS, testing...)
• 5+ years of experience as a solution architect
• Fluent English
