What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines across complex industrial/manufacturing datasets
  • Work extensively with Python, SQL, Azure, and Snowflake to deliver scalable data services
  • Support data extraction from SAP systems and related environments
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional needs into technical solutions
  • Own solution design while remaining hands-on in engineering and development
  • Troubleshoot, deep-dive, and resolve escalations (including senior stakeholder challenges)
  • Drive continuous improvement using AI tooling to optimise engineering workflows
  • Contribute to a long-term transformation roadmap (multi-year programme)

Requirements

  • Strong background in ETL development
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Solid experience across Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Databricks, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of SAP data structures (majority of sources are SAP)
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Qlick Replicate experience is a strong plus
  • Previous exposure to industrial/production/manufacturing environments
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to deep-dive into complex technical problems
  • Comfortable engaging directly with the business and handling high-level escalations
  • Ability to design solutions, build them, and report effectively to senior stakeholders
  • German language skills ideal, but not required
