This is your opportunityWe are looking for a motivated IT Lead to join our team. In this role, you will provide direction, instructions, and guidance to a group of IT Software Engineers to achieve project goals within the scope of IT initiatives. You will ensure the correct application of TGW standards, technologies, and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

What you'll be handling: Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead IT projects according to defined timelines.
  • Supervise design, development, and testing of backend applications and warehouse management modules (Java).
  • Ensure compliance with TGW standards, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Perform system and integration tests, commissioning at customer sites.
  • Provide user training and create technical documentation.
  • Support customers during ramp-up and coordinate with support teams.
Additional Functions

  • Technical assistance and cost estimation for sales activities.
  • Prepare functional specifications and attend meetings with customers and providers.
  • Define hardware, network, and software infrastructure for IT systems.
  • Lead and mentor team members, delegate responsibilities, and recruit IT engineers.
  • Coordinate with external IT providers and manage administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to departmental guidelines and quality control processes.
What you'll need:

Requirements

o Experience in Java development (Java SE 17, Spring Boot, REST APIs). o Knowledge of SQL/Oracle, Git, and testing tools (JUnit, Mockito). o Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira. o Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. o Ability to work in international teams and manage customers. o Languages: Spanish & English (French is a plus). o Availability to travel.
