Job description
- Monitor and manage project costs to ensure expenditures align with the budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures
- Ensure project execution complies with contractual conditions during Civil Works and Site Readiness phases
- Collaborate with site management to develop detailed project plans, including schedules and resource allocation
- Ensure each site is equipped with the necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to meet project objectives
- Track project progress across sites, compile reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Support BOP Supervisors in resolving construction issues or delays
- Ensure all site activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Facilitate communication between sites and other departments during Civil Works and Site Readiness phases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the wind energy, renewable energy, or construction sectors
- Strong ability to monitor and manage project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-control measures effectively
- Proficiency in developing comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address construction challenges and delays promptly
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and coordination with stakeholders at all levels
- In-depth understanding of wind energy construction processes, equipment, and industry regulations
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) and cost management tools
- Fluency in English (minimum B2 - C1 Level); additional language skills (Spanish, German) are an advantage
- A valid driver's license recognized in Germany is required for this position
Willingness to travel: You are ready to travel and work flexibly on-site according to project requirements.
