Job description

Implement and customize Guidewire core insurance system, working with alternative JVM language.

Lead the design of IT solutions, taking into account architecture and its constraints.

Serve as a reliable advisor and "sparring partner" for our clients.

Independently lead a project team, ensuring the timely completion of tasks and maintaining high standards.

Monitor compliance with project scope, spread good practices, and share knowledge across teams.

Create well-structured technical documentation (e.g., using BPMN, UML).
-
Work directly with our clients as an active member of an agile project team.

Build strong and long-lasting relationships with clients. About the skills and tools. You will use:

Requirements
-
At least 4 years of commercial experience as a software developer, using Java/Gosu.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role, such as a Tech Lead or Architect.

A fluency in Spanish (C1/C2 level) and good command of the English language (at least B2/C1 level) is a must.

Solid hands-on experience with systems integration or in the insurance domain.
-
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and clean code principles.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions and effectively facilitate workshops.

Experience in estimating effort on various levels and identifying potential risks.
-
Any of the following: Web services (REST/SOAP), Microservices, JMS knowledge, Spring, or any similar hands-on experience.

Readiness to travel regularly in Spain (we work partially from the client side).
