Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Be part of a platform development team of 6 engineers.

• Ensure effective cooperation with our development partners in Europe.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Linux-based platform.
• Work on configuring, integrating, and debugging the Linux kernel and userspace components.
• Participate in improving software reliability, performance, and security.
• Support integration of new hardware platforms (e.g., ARM and x86 architectures).
• Work in teams that use Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging yourself and colleagues to learn, adapt, and enhance their processes.

A completed course or study at higher vocational or university level.

• At least five years of experience with Linux-based Operating Systems.
• Experience with Linux kernel development, including configuring, building, and debugging the kernel.
• Knowledge of hardware architectures (e.g., x86, ARM) and their impact on kernel development.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Bash, Makefile, Python, C, C++.
• Knowledge of object-oriented software and test-driven development (TDD).
• Knowledge of networks and protocols, such as CAN or Ethernet.
• Familiarity with working with multidisciplinary Agile teams.
