Job description

Development of complex applications with significant impact on Dutch society for the Tax Administration.

  • Collaborating closely with other developers, designers, and testers within scrum teams to develop application components and unit tests.
  • Sharing knowledge and participating in national events and conferences.

As a mid-level Java developer at the Tax Administration, you will tackle various business challenges, such as debugging in tax declaration applications, creating new online forms for gift taxes, and implementing website adjustments for Customs based on new laws and regulations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in Java community meetings and contribute to progressive projects of significance to the Tax Administration.

The Information Provision Directorate, which is the ICT company of the Tax Administration, is a hub of modern tech innovation and development, engaging in agile practices and continuous learning.

Requirements

Hbo level of education.

  • Minimum three years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition development.
  • Proficiency in various frameworks and tools, including Java Enterprise Edition, Angular, Maven, OpenShift, Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, and Jira.
  • SCJP and OCPJP certifications.
  • Proficiency in Dutch language, both orally and in writing, at a minimum B2 level.
  • Multiple Java certifications or willingness to obtain them.
  • Ability to work independently as a mid-level Java developer in the team.
