Job description

A 6 month contract in Bristol, for a Network Infrastructure Engineer. This role requires expertise in Networking & Security technologies to support and enhance the company's infrastructure., * Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions to ensure efficient network performance.

  • Support and maintain Cisco networking equipment, ensuring optimal configuration and connectivity.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Network environments and associated systems.
  • Implement and maintain Palo Alto security solutions to safeguard the network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance and address any issues to minimise downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to align networking solutions with organisational goals.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and changes for reference and compliance purposes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders as required.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise with CCNA certification and experience with Cisco technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Network configurations and management.
  • Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto security solutions and their implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage network issues efficiently.
  • A collaborative approach to work within a technology-focused team.

Benefits & conditions

  • Daily rate of £300 to £325, depending on expertise and qualifications.
  • 6 month contract starting in Jan 2026
  • Hybrid working with some travel to DC's and HQ in Bristol.
