Job description

  • Act as the technical SME for all webMethods integration and orchestration activities
  • Lead the design, development and optimisation of integration workflows
  • Own end-to-end orchestration of services across multiple applications and platforms
  • Provide technical guidance and best practice across the integration estate
  • Troubleshoot complex Middleware, API and data flow issues
  • Support system performance, resilience and scalability
  • Work closely with architects, developers and business stakeholders
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and integration standards
  • Support testing, deployment and release activities

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Integration SME with strong webMethods and orchestration experience to join a fast-paced client project on a 3-month contract. This role will play a critical part in designing, supporting, and optimising enterprise-grade integration and orchestration solutions across multiple systems.

This is a hands-on technical role suited to a highly capable integration specialist who can operate autonomously, engage with stakeholders, and deliver robust, scalable solutions at pace., * Strong hands-on experience with webMethods (Integration Server, Broker/Terracotta, Trading Networks, etc.)

  • Proven experience with orchestration and complex workflow design
  • Strong background in Middleware, API integration and message-based systems
  • Experience working with:
  • REST/SOAP APIs
  • XML, JSON
  • Event-driven and microservices architectures
  • Solid understanding of:
  • System-to-system integrations
  • Data transformation and mapping
  • Integration security and authentication
  • Ability to operate as a true SME in a delivery-focused environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments
