Senior Oracle DB Developer

Our client is seeking a Senior Oracle DB Developer for a long-term program. You will work on new developments as well as corrective and evolutive maintenance in a full-time role based in Brussels.

Role & Responsibilities Design and validate relational data models in 3NF based on functional analysis Design and validate data models using Data Vault, Star Schema, or similar approaches Implement data models and business logic in SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle databases Ensure code quality and proper promotion management across environments (dev, test, acc, prod) Analyse and optimise database and application performance (SQL and PL/SQL tuning) Manage and validate deployment scripts across environments Contribute to peer reviews and maintain up-to-date technical documentation

Minimum 5 years Oracle DB development experience Minimum 5 years SQL and PL/SQL development experience Strong relational data modelling skills (ERD, 3NF) Experience designing Data Vault and Star Schema architectures Daily practice with GIT as Source Code Manager Practical experience with Scrum / Agile ways of working SQL and PL/SQL performance optimisation Task and issue tracking with Jira General database administration (security, tablespaces, schemas)

Languages Native level in Dutch or French (C2) Good level in the other national language (B1) Good working level of English (B2)
