Patch Management

Implementing and maintaining system-level security controls across Windows and Linux environments
Ensuring continuous vulnerability management and patch management
Defining, enforcing, and maintaining security policies related to networks, firewalls, endpoints, and cloud environments
Collaborating with internal security teams to enhance detection capabilities
Evaluating, testing, and recommending security tools and improvements
Performing system hardening and configuration management in line with compliance standards
Working closely with IT and operations teams to ensure system stability during security deployments
Creating, maintaining, and updating operational documentation in line with regulatory requirements, including NIS2
Supporting security audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate technical input
Participating in incident management and change management processes to ensure secure implementations

You have 3 to 10 years of experience in system engineering and/or security-related roles (medior or senior level)
You have strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
You are proficient with Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu)
You have hands-on experience with endpoint security, PKI, vulnerability management, and configuration baselines
You are familiar with NIS2 regulations and ISO 27001 principles
You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Relevant certifications in security or systems are considered an asset
Knowledge of automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Ansible) is a strong plus
You are fluent in English; conversational knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus
You are based in Belgium and open to hybrid working
