Job description
As a vital member of our software engineering team, you will play a key role in supporting, designing, implementing and documenting software solutions for our RASS® toolbox, our manufacturer-independent suite for on-site evaluation of radar elements. Your creative flair, coupled with technical proficiency, will be instrumental in bringing a seamless experience to our users' needs.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
· Support customers and service engineers with problems using RASS® devices and toolbox.
· Develop software solutions for our new RASS® product line.
· Develop documentation, flowcharts, lay-outs, design diagrams and code.
· Handle the analysis, problem definition, requirements and solution development thereby following the software development lifecycle.
· Support customers and service engineers with problems using RASS® devices and toolbox.
· Work closely together with our system engineers, hardware, and firmware developers to create a user application that fulfills the needs for our customers.
You don't need to tick every box - the more you bring, the better, but we value curiosity and continuous growth just as much as experience.
Requirements
*Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
*Fluent with object-oriented languages: C++ and/or Python.
*Strong OOP, Functional Programming, and modeling skills (UML).
*Ability to take a project from scoping requirements to the actual launch of the project.
*Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates, and meet production deadlines.
*Knowledge of LabVIEW is a plus.
*Radar knowledge is a plus.
