Engineer IT/OT

Job Description

As an IT/OT engineer, you apply your in-depth knowledge of OT and IT to analyze, solve problems, and optimize our clients' IT/OT infrastructure for maximum uptime at our clients.

This includes not just advising but also the actual implementation of solutions within networks such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers, industrial controllers, and MES systems.

Your initiative to independently identify and implement improvements makes you a crucial, proactive pivot within our organization.

Hard Skills

Essential:

• Professional bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent through experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in IT project execution.

• In-depth knowledge of network architectures (routers, switches, firewalls) from well-known vendors like Cisco.

• Extensive knowledge of Windows environments (servers, Active Directory, Office).

• Familiarity with virtual environments (Cloud, VMware) with a focus on cybersecurity. Advantages:

• Experience with software development tools (PowerShell, .NET, Python, PHP).

• Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet, OPC). * Initial work experience as an IT helpdesk/service desk employee is a plus. Soft Skills

• Pragmatic analytical skills, focused on results.

• Eagerness to learn for technical and personal competency development.

• Independent and proactive in seeking creative solutions.
