Azure & Databricks Technical Architect

• Design and implement scalable data integration solutions using Databricks and Azure.
• Lead Unity Catalog implementation to establish centralized governance and metadata management.
• Oversee migration of legacy data flows into the new corporate data platform.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to align data strategy with organizational goals.
• Ensure data quality through monitoring, validation, and remediation processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during implementation.

• Strong expertise in Databricks (including Unity Catalog) and Azure Data Services.
• Proven experience in data integration, governance, and metadata management.
• Hands-on background in data architecture and migration projects.
• Solid understanding of data quality frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders., · Proven experience with Azure Synapse

· Strong programming skills in Python (PySpark), SQL, and scripting tools Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management Familiarity with data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, and remediation workflows

· Experience with visualization tools

· Excellent communication and documentation skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
