Your key responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI-driven solutions for Swiss Financial Services clients, focusing on Agentic AI, intelligent automation, AI enablement, data engineering, and scalable application development.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with financial industry standards.
• Contribute to business development activities, including preparing client proposals and supporting internal strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing within the Technology Consulting team.
• Collaborate with local and international EY teams across geographies and industries to deliver high-impact client solutions.

• MSc or PhD in data science, computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in banking, insurance or asset management, either in-house or as a consultant.
• Interest and experience in AI domains such as Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning.
• Familiarity with programming paradigms such as object-oriented and functional programming, as well as data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting / programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL, C#, Java or similar.
• Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Palantir Foundry, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack, especially Azure services for data and AI.
• Flexible and proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform in collaborative, cross-functional team environments.
• Full professional proficiency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally abroad to collaborate with international teams and clients.
