Tasks
- Assist users with hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and configure new workstations and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts and network resource access., * Contact person for users with hardware, software, and network problems
- Setting up and configuring new workstations and peripheral devices
- Managing user accounts and access to network resources
- Performing routine maintenance and software updates to ensure system security and efficiency
- Technical support and guidance for users with varying IT knowledge
- Documenting processes and maintaining service logs
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting reported issues
- Supporting IT projects and the introduction of new technologies and systems
- Training users on new hardware or software applications
- Ensuring the effective operation of backup systems and performing data recovery if necessary
- Collaborating with vendors and other IT staff to resolve problems
Requirements
- IT degree or equivalent and 5 years in IT support required.
- Proficient in operating systems and cloud computing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills essential., * IT specialist EFZ or university degree in computer science
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar IT support role
- ITIL Foundation certification and MS certification
- IT skills: Operating Systems Administration, SCCM, Intune and Mobile Device Management, Cloud Computing Services, Hardware Diagnostics and Repair, Help Desk Ticketing Systems
- Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
- High customer orientation and target-group appropriate communication skills
- Flexible and agile working style
- Ability to quickly find practical solutions
