For our client, a medium-sized company in the construction and building materials industry in Chemnitz, we are looking for you as System Administrator (m/f/d) as part of the temporary employment with takeover option .

• Multiple further training opportunities, * You will be responsible for the entire client and user management in the Active Directory for the 40-60 end devices, take care of licence management and the operation of the mail server (Exchange on premise)
• In addition, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring and maintenance of all physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux) and actively support the Hyper-V infrastructure
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for the entire hardware and network infrastructure, including switches, printers and WLAN systems, and you design hardware and software
• You are responsible for IT security as part of your job, by controlling the firewall (Sophos), managing the antivirus solution (Kaspersky) and actively developing IT security
• You will be responsible for patch management and the rollout of Windows via WSUS as well as supporting the file transfer solution (Qiata) for secure data synchronisation
• Finally, you will coordinate external system service providers for complex projects or problems and be their central point of contact for all operational and strategic IT issues

• You have completed training as an IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d), IT specialist (m/f/d) or IT business administrator (m/f/d) or have acquired an equivalent qualification
• In addition, you have at least three years of professional experience in an IT company in which you have successfully demonstrated your comprehensive expertise
• Your solid knowledge of Active Directory, Hyper-V, Sophos FireWalls and patch management via WSUS
• You have a native level of written and spoken German and a good to very good command of English, enabling you to communicate easily
• Furthermore, you have a high degree of self-organisation and a sense of responsibility in order to complete demanding tasks on time
• Finally, you are a team-oriented personality and work in a structured manner:e team-orientated personality and work on complex challenges in a structured and solution-oriented manner
