Job description

  • Provide onsite 1st and 2nd line support, resolving common hardware and software issues and escalating more complex cases when needed
  • Log, document and update tickets, keeping users informed throughout the resolution process
  • Support and maintain end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and meeting room equipment
  • Assist with user account management, permissions, and basic Active Directory tasks
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot workplace IT equipment, ensuring new and replacement devices are set up correctly
  • Support Windows client systems and standard workplace applications, ensuring users can work efficiently
  • Coordinate basic onboarding activities for new employees, including workstation setup and introductory IT guidance
  • Maintain accurate local inventory of IT assets, ensuring equipment is tracked and usable
  • Liaise with external vendors for onsite repairs or replacements when necessary
  • Contribute to improvements in IT support processes and user experience

Requirements

  • Experience in 1st or 2nd line support within a professional environment
  • Good understanding of Windows client systems, basic networking and common workplace technologies
  • Familiarity with Active Directory or similar user management tools
  • Hands-on, structured and service-oriented approach to technical support
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in German and English
