Software Engineer - Microservices Java - Germany-based

• You develop state-of-the-art software solutions for our international e-commerce beauty platform.
• You engineer, improve & maintain microservices in the e-commerce backbone of our system landscape. By this you make an impact on our customers checkout and fulfillment experience.
• You integrate these services with SAP Commerce Cloud, other backend or frontend components.
• You work in a product driven team setup.
• You are in close contact with your IT colleagues and understand the needs and requirements of a high-performance, secure and stable platform operation.

Experience in designing, creating, deploying and improving micro services in complex cloud architectures (Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, GCP, RabbitMQ) A firm understanding and practical experience in tools and processes to ensure software quality, such as Unit Tests, TDD and Test Automation Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an international and agile environment Experience in working with eCommerce applications, preferably SAP Commerce Cloud Fun learning new stuff Passionate about what you create Very good English skills, German language skills are a plus A growth mindset Basic understanding of frontends with technologies like TypeScript, React, Node.js and are not afraid of doing smaller frontend modifications (plus) Devops knowledge, e.g. modifying build and deployment pipelines (plus), * Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role with a clear focus on the Java ecosystem
