Job description

Numbers create knowledge: As the largest information service provider in the state of Baden-Württemberg, we collect objective and neutral data on all important aspects of life. Our work forms the basis for analyses and decisions in politics, business and science. As an employee in the Central Operations department, you will look after our end-user workstations, administer servers and further develop applications and their interfaces. The department is also responsible for process support and the service desk., * You will configure and administer Windows servers and support our internal specialist procedures and statistical software there

  • You will test, pilot and install client software and advise customers on IT problems
  • You will process complex user applications and work together with our IT state service provider BITBW and the Statistical Network
  • You develop and support terminal server solutions for the institution

Requirements

  • You have an accredited bachelor's degree or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, mathematics or physics
  • You have extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and software administration and ideally have practical experience with statistical processes
  • You have experience in the administration and virtualization of Windows servers and IT security
