Job description

  • You design and develop ABAP-based solutions for SAP Logistics rollouts and related projects, supporting logistics and supply chain processes.
  • You ensure high development quality by applying clean code principles, structured ABAP development, and thorough code reviews.
  • Within the team, you coordinate development activities and take ownership of the technical implementation in line with the overall product strategy.
  • You act as a technical bridge between business stakeholders and IT, translating requirements into robust, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
  • Leveraging your strong understanding of logistics and warehouse processes, you enhance existing applications and actively drive innovation.
  • You proactively propose technical improvements and continuously optimise applications, processes, and system performance.

Requirements

  • A strong background in SAP logistics modules with hands-on experience in operational logistics environments
  • Solid knowledge of SAP WM / Warehouse Management (in S/4HANA: Stockroom Management) and SAP MM; experience with SAP SD is an advantage
  • Experience integrating and working with mobile devices, such as scanner-based solutions
  • An agile mindset with experience working in agile environments (e.g. Scrum, DevOps)
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a passion for advancing digitalisation in your area of responsibility
  • High customer and service orientation combined with assertiveness and commitment
  • Comfortable working in an international environment, with fluency in both German and English
