Job description

  • You will bring deep expertise across all areas of SAP Basis and play a key role in shaping and evolving a complex SAP system landscape.
  • You are responsible for designing and delivering SAP technology solutions within large-scale SAP transformation and implementation initiatives.
  • Working closely with enterprise architects and cross-functional engineering teams, you ensure holistic, sustainable SAP architectures and services across all technology layers.
  • You align SAP technology solutions with overarching business and IT strategies, ensuring long-term value and consistency.
  • Within projects, you provide strong technical leadership, ensure adherence to best practices, and act as a trusted sparring partner for project managers and architects.
  • You collaborate with external service providers and strategic partners to enable scalable, high-performing, and future-ready SAP services.
  • Through continuous assessment of the existing SAP landscape, you identify optimisation opportunities and proactively drive its ongoing development.
  • You create transparency around current SAP on-premise and cloud-based architectures and actively shape their targeted evolution.

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis architecture and technical solution design
  • Strong knowledge of relevant SAP technologies, particularly SAP monitoring, ERP, S/4HANA, and the SAP Business Technology Platform
  • A passion for modern SAP technologies and a clear ambition to establish yourself long-term as a senior SAP expert
  • Confident communication skills in both English and German, written and spoken
