Cloud Engineer

• Experienced with infrastructure as code and deployment automation.
• Strong experience with writing infrastructure as code with any of CDK, Terraform, and or CloudFormation (or other equivalent).
• Strong experience with automated deployment tooling with any of AWS Code Pipeline/Build (etc), Azure DevOps, and or GitLabCi (or other equivalent).
• Very good understanding of multiple cloud services in AWS and or Azure.
• Experience with design of cloud solutions in AWS and or Azure.
• Reasonable familiarity with servers operating systems, networking, data stores, databases, and identity access management.

Required technical skills:

• Proven experience in cloud computing (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
• Proven experience in cloud networking automation
• Terraform Infrastructure as code automation
• Experience with Azure networking tools (V-WAN, VNET, BGP, etc.)
• Proven understanding of DevSecOps concepts, and has implemented or working knowledge of using those skills in an already existing framework
• Strong passion for end-to-end DevOps automation via CI/CD pipelines to deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• and usage of tools (e.g., ADO, GitHub/Actions, Jenkins, or equivalents).
• Proven ability to manage infrastructure environments, configurations and workflows via self-service automation
• Proficiency in scripting languages: e.g. Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell, YAML, KQL, other
• Proficiency in waterfall and Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc. delivery methodologies
• Knowledge and experience in testing automation harnesses and frameworks
• Understanding and ability to ensure operational stability and enforcement of security controls via Policy-as-Code and IaC automation.
